2020 Taxes, Deadlines and COVID-19

We all find ourselves in extraordinary circumstances, coming together to ensure the health and safety of our families, neighbors and communities as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to escalate. The health and safety of our staff and clients is our top priority. At this time we are continuing to limit the amount of foot traffic into our office. If you come into our office, please call to schedule an appointment. We are requiring all clients who come into our office to wear a mask. We are also limiting the number of guests into our lobby to 2 people at a time.

We continue to ask clients to utilize one of the following options to submit your tax documents to us.

RHW CPAs Client Portal:
We strongly encourage clients to utilize the Client Portal App (Netclient CS in your App Store) to take photos of your tax documents and then upload into your secure client portal.

To download the app, visit your App Store on your mobile or tablet devices to download the NetClient CS, By Thomson Reuters (Tax & Accounting) Inc. This app allows users on-the-go access to manage all of your account details, access key documents, invoices, and much more! To access your personal portal from your desktop computer, please visit our Client Portal webpage. If you do not have a client portal and would like to have us set one up for you, please let us know.

If you do not have a mobile device with app capability or a scanner to upload tax documents, you are welcome to fax (614-362-2295) your tax documents to us.

If you do not have access to the above the options and still need to drop documents off to our office, you may drop them off to our office by appointment. When you come into the office for your appointment, you must wear a mask, that covers your mouth and nose, as well as meets the Department of Health’s requirements. Once your tax returns are completed, we can either mail your tax packet to you or prepare all actionable items digitally for you to print out at home. Because we are attempting to limit foot traffic into the office, we are not holding any face to face tax meetings. However, we are happy to set up a conference call or Zoom call with your tax preparer after you receive your finalized tax documents. Please contact us to set this appointment.

We encourage any concerned customers, especially those who are elderly or at a higher risk of contracting this virus, to avoid visiting our office if they are feeling ill or are concerned about potential exposure. During this time, our hearts go out to everyone impacted by COVID-19, including those diagnosed with the virus, all of the caregivers at home and in health care, and those who’s job or school has been affected. We will continue to monitor the ever changing situation and take additional measures needed to best support our staff and clients.

We appreciate your concerns and understanding during this uncertain time.
